In today's paper intensive law offices, a single lawsuit can be made up of over one million documents. With so much riding on these documents, the one technology tool that can directly reflect on both the law firm’s image and bottom-line is the printer…or in the state-of-the-art office: the MFP.
Multifunction devices (MFPs) combine printing, faxing, copying and scanning into a single, compact networked device. When office space is at a premium or costly, MFPs can be an ideal solution to handle a multitude of office tasks. For example, a copy of a signed contract could be scanned, stored electronically on a server, e-mailed to the client for their files, sent to the account team for notification and sent to the billing department to generate an invoice, all in one step.
Other Select Benefits
-
Our products combine integrated scanning and PDF conversion, allowing full searches of PDF files. The files can be managed and distributed in Web-based information management systems, as well as on local or wide area networks.
- Our software maintains information on project description, document and file naming conventions, image specification, scripting rules, and unique document descriptions. It supports SCSI and TWAIN scanners, and can perform in either simplex or duplex mode.
- Researchers and attorneys can take notebook computers to locations nationwide and scan relevant documents directly into our document management system. (The documents are immediately available for other users back at the law office.)
